About Thess's family

Greetings! I am thrilled to have this opportunity to introduce myself as your prospective homestay host. My name is Thess and I am a nurse and a mother of a fun-loving 4 year old daughter. We are easy going, busy family. We both love the Canadian outdoors and embrace the way of living. We love to cook and bake goods and we offer a healthy meals/ snacks each time. We believed in healthy body, healthy minds. Our home is a quite with comfortable safe space which is ideal for students. We have a lovely 3 bedroom, 2 of which we would like to share with students. Everything in our home is newly renovated with custom made storage space. If noticed in our video and pictures shared, we have not brought a lot of furniture and decorations at the moment as we meticulously select what to bring. For students, I will be providing the furniture, study chair, lamps, dresser etc during your stay. Our home is close to all major transportation (approx 2 mins walk to the nearest bus stop). We are also surrounded with shopping center and plaza, restaurants, schools, gym, community center, churches etc. making your life more convenient. We are settled in a pleasant, peaceful, plenty of green space/ city parks neighborhood which is ideal for student's success. That is why our home is a great choice for students who want to live comfortably in a safe environment while studying abroad. Finally, I am well-versed in my local community and I am more than willing to provide you guidance on public transportation and services, directions to local communities etc. My goal as your host is to make your homestay a seamless, memorable and enjoyable one.
