About Danica's family
Hosting in Vancouver since 2024Hello! We are a clean, quiet and healthy family of four with two friendly cats. My husband and I both work in the field of Education, and together have over 30 years of experience working with students ages 3 to 30. Our home is comfortable and clean in a very central neighborhood in Vancouver. Our home is easily accessible to transit for commuting to UBC, Langara College or BCIT. We are 15 minute drive or 20 minute by bus to Downtown Vancouver. We have two young children who are quiet and respectful, and attend French immersion school. Our backyard is small and peaceful and fully secure. We are excited about welcoming a student into our home with their own private entrance, room and half bathroom for a comfortable stay.

| Host prepares breakfast for student Eggs, toast, nut butters, smoothies, yogurt, granola, cereal, coffee, tea. We eat healthy food, dairy-free and mostly gluten-free, though we are not opposed to having other food in the house. |
| Host provides material, student prepares own lunch Lunches are usually packed in the morning to-go. Sandwich fixings, quality deli meat, dinner leftovers, fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, hummus, nuts, pepperoni, smoked salmon, protein bars, and more! |

House rules
HOUSE RULES
House rules will be included in the contract after booking.
***There are no kitchen facilities so if you choose the no meal option then you will have to eat all meals outside of the house ***
1. Most important thing for us is being clean and tidy. You must clean up after yourself daily and keep your room clean. You are responsible for cleaning your own room and your private bathroom each week - we have materials available for you.
2. You may do laundry as you need. Follow instructions given.
3. No shoes inside the house - you may wear house slippers/sandals.
4. You may eat in your room - no hot plates or microwaves in rooms, and no dirty dishes left overnight.
5. No overnight guests, but you are welcome to have friends over to visit (please ask us first if entering main floor with friend).
6. Together we will decide best shower/bathing window for you to use full shared bathroom.
7. You have access to your private entrance at all hours, but may not access the main floor of house after 10pm.
8. No loud noise after 9pm.
