About Han's family
Hosting in Toronto since 2021I have a beautiful artsy home in a beautiful vibrant downtown neighbourhood with everything you need to live, study and play, including essential services. It is located within walking distance to essentials like grocery stores, authentic cultural food stores, restaurants, streetcar, buses and subway and attractions in the city like the historical distillery district, the waterfront, Dundas Square, Eaton Centre, Don valley trail, Riverdale Farm, underpass Park, East China town, George Brown and Toronto Metro University formerly Ryerson University campuses, and a short streetcar ride to Kensington market. I live here with my sibling who is a student studying Biology. I am an artist, creative entrepreneur, academic researcher and work in food and agriculture. We laugh a lot, make jokes, create art, keep an open mind, communicate well and care for each other and our space. You are very much welcome to join us. The room currently available is a spacious main room with a private washroom and a walk-in closet for your convenience and comfort. The room is equipped with a comfortable Queen mattress and bed, bedside table, an accent chair, and a reading desk and chair. The house has a huge living room and kitchen with all the basic and essential tools for cooking and baking.

General House Use and Access
No.1 rule is: Always clean up after yourself
It is important to save energy so please turn the lights off when you leave an area or room, unplug your devices and chargers not in use.
No parties or events except by express permission from the host
No overnight guest/visitors without informing and getting permission from the host. Overnight guests are not allowed to stay multiple nights
Close the front door when you go in and out the house
Please ask me questions if you are ever unsure about anything around the house
Kitchen
You are welcome to use the kitchen to cook your meals in the evenings or breakfast in the morning before 10am. If you need to use the kitchen outside of those times please get permission from the host
Clean the kitchen counter, floors and appliances used after cooking
Clean your dishes, pots and pans immediately after use
Private Room and Bathroom
Keep your room clean
You must vacuum/sweep your room at least once a week
You must clean your bathroom including the tub at least once a week. If you share a washroom, you will take turns washing every other week
Use the wet vacuum to clean the rug in your room at least once a month (I can show you how to use the vacuum)
Laundry
You are welcome to use the laundry room from 7:30pm during the week (Mon-Fri) and anytime on the weekend (Sat and Sun)
Please do not wash single clothing items or very small loads. Make sure you have a good amount of clothing to wash at a time
Please do not use fabric softeners with the washing machine
Living and Dining Area
You are welcome to use the dining or living area as long as you clean up after yourself including wiping down the table and sweeping crumbs off the floor
Balcony
You are welcome to use the balcony during the summer/ warmer months. Please take patio furniture cushions indoors after use.
