Welcome, I have been a homestay for 10 years and welcome international students from everywhere. I recently repainted and updated the student room, it used to be purple and now is light grey with new furniture. Take a look at the personal pictures for the updated look. Many of my students have stayed for several years because they feel at home with our family. I make sure you have all the foods you like and have everything you need to feel comfortable and able to focus on school. Our dogs love our students and my children will show you the city, local public transportation and take you to social events. I celebrate your culture and routines by inviting you to bring recipes and to go grocery shopping to introduce us to your world. We are on a main city bus route to Fanshawe college and University, and there is school buses to 2 ESL high schools. Students are welcome to talk to previous homestay guests to get information about our home and family.

I make the recipes and foods the students like, ham, chicken, beef, fish, seafoods, lots of different vegetables, rice, couscous, quinoa, noodles, quiches, tacos, chili, hot pot, stiry frys, asian foods, dumplings, pizza, wings, take out, sushie, thai food, mexican, spanish, crock pot meals, fires, burgers, hotdogs, BBQ, we make a weekly menu to offer a variety of foods

House rules
    House rules will be included in the contract after booking
    I expect student to clean up after themselves, do their laundry and let the dogs outside when they are home. I ask they check to let me know if they are home for dinner and to make sure they are safe. Students and my children have weekly chores that are fairly distributed among all family members. We have a weekly family meal where we review what needs to be done and divide it up among all people in the home.
