About Sherry's family

The house is located at a very convenient location in Etobicoke, Toronto West. TTC bus stop is literally at door step- you just need to climb one flight of steps to access the bus stop. One bus to Royal York subway station with no need to transfer. 15-20 minutes walk to Mimico Go-station. Basically, 30 - 40 minutes by public transportation to Toronto downtown core. There are multiple great schools in this areas, as follows: 1. Etobicoke School of the Arts - 1.0 km, 10-15 minutes walk, 5-6 minutes bus ride 2. Bishop Allen Academy Catholic Secondary School - 1.4km, 15-20 minutes walk, 6-8 minutes bus ride 3. Etobicoke Collegiate Institute - 4km, 20-23 minutes bus ride 4. Father John Redmond Catholic Secondary School - 5.2km, 25-28 minutes bus ride 5. Humber College Lakeshore Campus - 5.2km, 25-28 minutes bus ride The location is probably one of the most convenient locations in South Etobicoke, with Queensway Etobicoke stretch being “the place” for local foodies, and No Frills, Costoco all literally within a few minutes walk. Quite a few family-run eateries with long history, including the famous "Sanremo Bakery", one block south in Mimico village. A few words about myself - the host: Sherry Li is a registered Financial Advisor, a passionate part- time introduction leader for a personal and professional growth program in DT Toronto, and runs her own education-related side business. Her son is a first -year student in University of Toronto and is moving out. She speaks and writes very good English, limited French. Mandarin is her first language but she has no problem at all communicating in English about all areas of life. She likes reading, and likes to keep her house artsy and welcoming.
