About Jocelyn's family
Hosting in Toronto since 2019Hello Students, Welcome to my Homestay! I'm Jocelyn, born in the Philippines but I've been living in Canada for 24yrs. I have been doing homestay since 2016. I work at the five star hotel in downtown Toronto. There is a train station walking distance from the house that takes about 15 minutes to Union station in downtown Toronto. By bus it will take 30-45 minutes. I'm also doing online business on my spare time. I have hosted students from Brazil, Japan, Spain, China, Turkey, Thailand, Vietnam, Columbia, Mexico, Chile, Morocco, Indonesia, South Korea, Uzbikistan, Australia and France. Some of them extended their stay upon arrival because they feel comfortable. I clean the student's room, change sheets every 2 weeks and wash laundry every weekend (Saturday& Sunday). You have nothing to do except studying your lesson. I would prefer student who will book with meals because my kitchen is not big enough for everyone to cook food in the kitchen. Please take note that my homestay is not a restaurant that you could order food and it will be served to you on the table. I will feed you food that our family cook for everybody in the house. I would welcome your food preferences but please don't demand. Respect and communication is very important for us to understand each other. I'm very approachable, helpful, hospitable to everyone. I treat everyone as my family member. Feel at home away from home! WELCOME TO MY HOMESTAY!!!

House rules
House Rules:
1. Make your bed in the morning when you wake up. keep room tidy.
2. Shower should be a maximum of 15 minutes. There are also other people who wants to use the washroom so be considerate.
3. Do not bring any footwear upstairs that has been used outside.
4. Keep windows closed when the air conditioner/heater is on.
5. Turn off lights and other electric devices if not in use.
6. Please let us know if you are not having dinner at home or if you are coming home late.
7. Don't bring food or eat inside the room as it attracts rodents and bugs.
8. Bring down dirty clothes for washing on Saturday or Sunday morning.
9. Please close door softly no slamming as it sounds annoying to others.
10. Never open the door to strangers when the doorbell rings unless it is an expected guest.
11. Don't make any noise after 10PM because others already sleeping.
12. Make sure to lock the main door when leaving the house.
