I have been a Homestay for 4 years and happily hosted students from Japan, Mexico and Russia. The apartment building is older with marble window sills and carved ceilings. The apartment is on the top floor. The student's room is quiet. It faces north with the view over the treetops. The desk is at the window. The street has over 20 buses/hour going to and from Eglinton subway station and Hansa, which are only 5 minutes away. It is a very safe building and close to any downtown location. I have a BA in English, an MBA degree and TESOL certificate. A native English speaker, I also teach ESL online to Chengdu students.

Breakfast	Host provides material, student prepares own breakfast Cold milk, cornflakes, orange juice.
Lunch	Host prepares lunch for student Lunch box - large croissant with butter and either cheese or ham or chicken slices plus lettuce; 2 chocolate treats; piece of cake. Juice box.
Dinner	Host prepares dinner for student Hot dinner - either fresh vegetable and meat soups/stews with noodles or rice; lasagna with meat - and icecream and fruit. The menu varies by student's schedule/cultural preference/religion.

House rules

House rules will be included in the contract after booking
1. Bring Indoor slippers/please leave your outdoor shoes at the front door.
2. Pets are 2 longhair Persian cats, BonBon and Delilah, who both enjoy students and will be curious about you. Pet-friendly students only.
3. It is a private home. There are no locks on the doors. No guests are to stay over.
4. Students do their own laundry - tokens provided.
5. Minors Homadorma curfew policy is observed.
