About Marie's family
Hosting in Coquitlam since 2019Hi, my name is Lorraine. I am a health care administrator and a caring host parent. We are a warm and welcoming family located in a peaceful neighborhood of central Coquitlam. My husband and I have hosted students from all over the world. We have two furnished upper-floor bedrooms for our students. The rooms both have large windows, and the students may enjoy the view of the beautiful walking trails behind our house. Students are always welcome to relax and chat with us in the living room. Throughout the days, meals are provided, and the kitchen is always open. The homestay is within walking distance (10 to 15 minutes) to Pinetree Secondary, Pinetree Community Centre, Skytrain and bus stations, Town Centre Park, Douglas College, and the Coquitlam Centre Mall. We are also close to GlenEagle Secondary. The indoor gyms and outdoor stadiums located in the community center and park provide opportunities for students to participate in a variety of activities such as sports and volunteering. We would be delighted to share our home with responsible students and get to learn more about different cultures. In my home, students are always treated like family.
