About Mirek's family

We are a family of 5. We have a 4 year old boy, a 2 year old girl and a 1 year old baby. We love to go for walks around the neighbourhood (near Fraser Heights Secondary) and biking to a nearby park. I am an elementary school teacher at a school near Pacific Academy in Fraser Heights and my wife, who did her teaching program as well, is a stay at home mom for now. We have an extra bedroom in the house, and thought this would be a fun way to use the bedroom. I was born in Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic) and my wife was born in the Philippines. We met here in Canada. We are both Catholic, but more spiritual. My wife and I are both interested in meeting students from around the world. Cheers :-) Update - my wife will be attending school starting in October. She will not have time to be cooking meals. We have taken cooking meals off, however, there is a grocery five minutes away, along with many fast food stores within walking distance. The student is welcome to buy their own groceries and cook their own food in our kitchen. Until my wife is finished university we cannot guarantee we will have the time to cook delicious foods as even with our own kids sometimes we give them cereal in the morning, and just a boring sandwich for lunch, and some frozen heated food at night. This may be acceptable for a student in which case we can work it out. Having said that, it’s a beautiful house in a gorgeous area with lots of walkways and a quiet neighbourhood with all houses and very close to the Major centre called Guilford Mall and the bus stop is in front of the house. And we’re excited to meet people from around the world. If the student is young and in elementary, then the student would eat with our children for $300 s month. Cheers :-)
