About Kat's family

Hosting in Mississauga since 2019

We are two professionals; both of us engineers. My husband is working as a Home Inspector. We were born and raised in Macedonia, Former Yugoslavia where we had a wonderful life raising our daughters, taking care of our parents and working in professions that we loved. My husband owned his own business in lighting and I was a teacher and a principal of a secondary technical school. We left Macedonia in 2001 when it was at the edge of a civil war. We lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for 6 years. That is where our daughters got their Bachelor's degrees and I completed my Ph.D. in Education. We immigrated to Canada in 2007, bought our house and established ourselves professionally and within the community. We are proud Canadians :)

Nothing out of ordinary. We are parents of two wonderful daughters-professionals who moved out but love to visit us. One of them lives in Toronto and the other one in Mississauga; both of them with their long-term partners.
