Self-Introduction:
    Self-Introduction:

We are a professional couple who have been hosting international students for five years. We have hosted students from China, Japan, Brazil and Venezuela. We have hosted the same students multiple times as they have become an extension of our family. I work in insurance and my husband is a chef, but note that I do most of the cooking at home. I am interested in home design and my husband will lays and listens to metal.
Our home is downtown on a quiet street with mature trees. It takes less than 15 minutes to walk or 2 minutes via streetcar to travel to Yonge and Dundas square. We are close to Ryerson University and George Brown College.
Your room is on the second of three floors in our house. The second floor has our home office, two guest rooms and one bathroom. Guest room #1 has a view of the street, a single bed, desk and chair, lounge chair and large closet. Guest room #2 has a view of the backyard, a double bed, and a large tv (no desk) and a regular sized closed. Guests rooms share a bathroom. We have our own bedroom and bathroom on the third floor, giving us all privacy. The rooms are renovated, well-appointed and clean.
Guests must be comfortable living with a 17 pound dog (she looks like a teddy bear) and a 15 pound cat (he's a Russian blue). Our dog Maye has cuddled many students and helped them when they were homesick. Our cat Vader is more aloof and generally plays with the dog.
We treat our guests like extended family members. We want you to be comfortable. We will respect you but we also want you to respect our home and our house rules.

Beautiful house very well decorated, located in a great spot Downtown. The rooms look very comfortable and the hosts are super friendly.
