Hosting in Port Coquitlam since 2019We are an experienced homestay with over 5 years experience hosting students from around the world! We are conveniently located close to three high schools in the area and very close to several bus stops that will take you to coquitlam centre where you can catch the skytrain to downtown vancouver.

House rules
1. Our expectation are that you will all be at school on time everyday. That means being in bed at a decent time and being considerate to everyone in this house. Shawn and I go to bed at 9:30-10:00 during the week because we are up early, we need you guys to please be quiet around then.
2. Curfew for all of you during the week is 9:30. The nights you have school. Curfew on the weekends is 1 AM.
3. Showering-if you are showering at night, please shower before 9:30, 9:30 is the same as your curfew so if you plan to shower at night, then you need to be home BEFORE 9:30. No coming home at 9:30 and then showering.
4. Breakfast and lunch you are on your own. Help yourself. We will always cook dinner.
5. Dinner- if you aren't home for dinner we need you to tell us. Text us if you go out after school and if you are having dinner at home. If you are eating later, that is fine. But we don't want you guys eating at 10 PM at night, our bedroom is above the kitchen and we hear everything.
6. PLEASE keep the animals inside at all times. They NEVER go outside. Please make sure you always close the doors behind you and make sure both cats and the dog stay inside.
7. Laundry - if you have laundry to be washed we will wash it on Saturday's just bring it downstairs and leave it in the laundry room. This includes your sheets and towels.
8. Cleaning the washroom-you will alternate each week who clean it. Please make sure this is done on Sunday the same Day we expect you to vacuum and clean your room. We would like you to do this BEFORE you go out for the day. This also includes emptying your garbage cans in your room and bathroom.
9. Washroom in the mornings-you will share the bathroom with each other so please don't spend a lot of time in there in the mornings, especially if you are showering.
10. Clean up after yourselves especially in the bathroom, including hair on the floor and in the shower, etc. you are all sharing the bathroom so please keep it tidy and help each other out.
11. No eating in your rooms and don't throw food in your garbages in your rooms. Put all food wrappers in the garbage in the kitchen.
