AVAILABLE OCTOBER 1st, 2018 [or sooner]. Furnished, private room in midtown TO, main floor flat close to Yonge & Eglinton - a very safe, residential neighbourhood. The room has a bed, dresser, flat screen TV, unlimited high speed internet & digital cable, NetFlix, a closet, and a desk/ study area. Lots of storage! Short walk to Eglinton Subway on Line 1 [Yonge Street Line], the public library, North Toronto Community Centre, cafes, bars, restaurants, gyms, a park and much more. Close to several international and language schools. Five home-cooked dinners are provided each week and self-serve breakfast and lunch are provided daily. Linens and towels, select personal items [e.g. soap, shampoo] are provided. Self-serve laundry facilities are available for weekly use at no extra charge. There is a shared bathroom. My name is Tricia and I am a teacher. I am over 50 years old, speak English, live alone and there will just be the two of us in the house. I grew up in Toronto quite close to where I live now. I have all required references, lots of hosting experience and I have traveled extensively. I am kind, warm, friendly and a very good cook. I prefer a responsible, tidy, quiet student aged 18 years and up. No parties or overnight guests. No smoking in the house.     If you do not plan to be home for dinner please tell me
    You are expected to help with tidying up after meals including loading dishwasher, washing or drying dishes.
    You must keep common areas [kitchen/ bathroom/ living room] and your bedroom tidy
    Behave responsibly and respect my privacy. Do not enter my bedroom without knocking.
    Ask for help with using small appliances.
    If you lose the house key you will be responsible for the cost of having the lock replaced
    Do not cook, or keep food in your room
    Do not stick anything to the walls
    Turn off lights, fans, laptops etc. when leaving the house
    No international phone calls from house phone line
    Never flush anything down the toilet except for toilet paper
