About Nina's family
Hosting in Oakville since 2018We have 2 single rooms (Blue room and Purple room). Both private single bedrooms located upstairs, fully furnished with a bed, desk, and easy access to a full shared bathroom. Our house is situated in Glen Abbey, within walking distance to Abbey Park High School (10-15 minutes walk) and St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic High School (10-15 minutes walk), and Sheridan College is about 30 minutes by bus. In the vicinity, you'll find the Sobeys' plaza, featuring a Sobeys grocery store, McDonald's, Tim Hortons, Baskin Robbins, a shawarma spot, Symposium Cafe, Magicuts hair salon, a nail salon, banks, and a dentist. We are also near the Glen Abbey Recreational Centre, which has a public library, ice skating arenas, squash courts, a swimming pool with a slide, Oakville Gymnastics, and a fitness centre. Additionally, we're 800 meters from Oakville's renowned Monastery Bakery and within walking distance from trails and beautiful parks such as Nottinghill Gate Park, where many beautiful flowers are planted in the summer and an outdoor ice rink is available in the winter. A meal plan is included; we provide ingredients for breakfast and lunch, and we cook dinner. We are a family of 4 with a small dog. But don't worry if you're not a fan of dogs—she won't take offense and will still offer her unconditional love ?. Our daughters are now at university and no longer live with us during the school year. We all speak English and French fluently, I also speak Spanish, Portuguese, and a bit of Japanese. The student is welcome to use communal areas such as the kitchen, TV room, home gym, piano, basement bathroom, etc.
