About Camille's family
Hosting in Oakville since 2018Hi! We are a mother daughter family (mother is a lawyer, daughter is in high school and is Chinese-Canadian). We love to travel and learn about new cultures, having been to China, Cost Rica, France and Italy in the past few years. We have hosted exchange students before and would love to host an international students during the upcoming school year. We are a very friendly, easy going and quiet family that likes to cook, garden, hike, do crafts, read. We have a huge deck overlooking a beautiful backyard that is a peaceful place to study or relax, and a comfortable sectional in front of the fireplace to relax in during the winter, as well as a second family room in the basement (so you can always find a spot for peace and quiet if you would like). We both love to cook and often make fresh baked cookies and muffins on weekends, and simpler foods like rice, pasta and stir-fry's during the week. Our neighbourhood is very multicultural with Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Ukrainian and Caucasian families on our street, most with children in their early-mid teenage years. Please reach out with any questions you have in considering whether to join us in our home for this upcoming year! You might also want to know that there is a bus about 10 minute walk from our house that goes directly to Sheridan College. We do not offer parking at our house unfortunately. We just finished a massive renovation in our house so it now features a gourmet kitchen!

House rules
We clean up our own mess, respect each other and generally keep things reasonably quiet. We also don’t allow guests to stay past 10 unless pre-cleared with me ( as we are a quiet and busy but studious family). And finally although it may be legal in Canada we do not permit Cannabis to be used in the home.
