Hello,

We are a very active family of four. We enjoy spending time outside and exploring the abundance of nature Vancouver has to offer. We are very healthy and enjoy cooking delicious Vegetarian and Vegan meals.

We eat dinner together and we are happy to spend time with you, especially at dinner time where we sit and eat together and play card games and board games.

We have been a hosting international students for the past 5 years. Our homestay is ideal for students looking for a clean, safe, healthy environment. If you are looking to improve your English we welcome you to talk and engage with us on a daily basis.

We are located in one of the best neighbourhoods in all of Vancouver! We are on a direct bus route to UBC 15min and Downtown 30min. We are with walking distance to some of the best beaches in the city, shopping and restaurants. Our home offers beautiful views of the mountains and 10min walk to the largest natural park in Vancouver.

We have one clean and comfortably furnished room available on the upper level of our home. With shared bathroom with one other international student.

We offer breakfast and dinner, we have only one kitchen so all cooking is done by host family. Special permission to cook needs to be prearranged with host family. (We are a vegetarian home so no animal meat allowed)

We are a home with young children. In short: no drugs, alcohol, smoking or illegal activities of any kind. Maintain a tidy bedroom and bathroom by cleaning up after yourself. Be energy conscious and abide by recycling rules. Respect homestay family and fellow students' privacy and belongings, maintain good manners and pitch in to help with basic household chores. Open communications in English only zone in common areas around the house (to help your English). No overnight guests without prior permission.
