We are very happy to have you come live in our home while you are here. Our wish is that you feel very welcome and a part of our family. Please do not hesitate to approach us about anything you want to know – we are here to help you learn our customs and language. We would like to tell you a little about us. Our names are Rosy and Philip, we have two daughters 10 and 15 years old. We have a little Chihuahua named Apple. Our family been doing this home stay since I was a child in my back home. We are a Christian family. Once again, we are happy to welcome you to Canada. We consider it our privilege to have you here and to assist you in every way that we can. OUR HOME – YOUR HOME: You are welcome to make yourself at home in the “common areas” of our house — watch TV anytime you want, watch movies, play the piano, read, play board or card games, etc. We do respectfully ask that you not smoke or drink any alcoholic beverages at our home. If you have any problems or questions, please come to us and we will help you in any way we can. What are hosts expected to provide to students? A private bedroom, desk and closet, semi private bathroom Nutritious meals, every day (meal plans vary) A patient, caring, and friendly home atmosphere The same guidance and attention you would want for one of your loved ones travelling overseas! We are very hospitality, kind and patient family. It can be overwhelming for a student to be so far away from home. We are a very thoughtful host family who appreciates that each student is unique and that communication and mutual understanding take effort. We are interested in sharing your lifestyle in a positive and mutually rewarding way. We are rest assured that you will live in a safe, secure, loving, most welcoming environment to learn and grow in. We consider it's our privilege to have you here and to assist you in every way that we can. Hosting an international student is discover the world without leaving your home. it’s a great way for our children to meet with international students and be exposed to different cultures.
