Self-Introduction:
    Self-Introduction:

Our house is located in Kerrisdale in a quiet residential area. We are a few blocks from 41st Ave with buses to UBC (15 min), to the Canada Line Oakridge station (5 min) and to downtown (25 min). We’re also a short walk from the Kerrisdale village, with shops and a community center. Our house has 3 storeys, and the room we have available is on the lower floor. The room has a window and a nice wooden floor. It is furnished with a bed, linens, closet, chair, and desk. The bathroom is private.

We are a professional couple with two school-aged children. We are looking for someone who is independent and respectful of our home. It would be ideally suited to a student or working professional with a busy schedule, who needs a quiet room to relax and/or study. The monthly fee is $1000, and this includes all utilities (heat, electricity, water) as well as access to laundry facilities and WiFi. We don’t expect a long-term commitment, although someone who can stay at least 3 to 6 months would be preferred. The fee would be month-to-month from the start, with 1/2-month security deposit and 1-month notice.
