Hosting in Richmond Hill since 2017Hello My name is MaryLynn and I live in Richmond Hill. My son resides in the lower level of our home. We both work during the day. We are quiet, respectful and clean. Our neighbourhood is safe and peaceful, located near Bayview / Elgin Mills. We are within walking distance to Richmond Hill Newkirk GO Transit Station, VIVA, and YRT transit buses. It is easy to go downtown Toronto or within the GTA. I am looking for a quiet, respectful, mature, independent student, who is comfortable with doing their own laundry, preparing their own meals, and sharing our living space. This includes a modern bright kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. I have a 16 yr.old cat, very gentle, friendly, loving and docile. We live close to many amenities such as COSTCO, T&T, Wal-Mart, Longos, Shoppers Drug mart, hair and nail salons, dry cleaners, dentists, optometrists, opticians, restaurants, and movie theatres. We are close to a hospital, several medical clinics, Hillcrest Mall, Richmond Hill Library, and Richmond Green park. Due to a busy work schedule, I am unable to provide meals at exact times. I do cook, and can help a student learn how to use the kitchen to cook meals, so you are comfortable cooking with our Samsung gas stove, safely. Due to Covid19, we currently work from home and are a Covid19 free home.

House rules
I do not allow smoking inside my home, no drugs, no drinking alcoholic beverages. Occasional guest and friends are permitted, with notice of when they would be visiting (restricted due to Covid19). Parties and overnight guests are not permitted.
Efficient use of utilities is important so making sure lights, and devices are unplugged, when not in use is requested and greatly appreciated.
I have a dishwasher and ask that plates be wiped and rinsed before placing the in the dishwasher to maximize cleaning.
Laundry is located in the lower level, so a scheduled time to do laundry, preferably at night or on weekends is preferred.
If you want to play music late at night, I ask that you use headphones so that it cannot be heard outside your room or the volume is turned down low.
