Hi I have been doing homestay for about 20 years in my home. I can decribe my home as a home away from home. Ali the students who ever stayed in my homestay would say they felt comfortable during their stay. The area the students live is private and extremely comfortable. The full washroom is clean, bright and it is only for student use. The area in the house the students live has a lot of natural light that comes in all day long. It is a really must see place to live. Also one of the best reasons to live in my homestay is the close proximity to public transportation. It is only a 1 minute walk to the 512 streetcar. This streetcar runs all night long which is great for night safety. My house is newly constructed, fresh in look and extremely safe. The area I live is a very family friendly neighborhood. The cooking in my house is all home made no package food is ever used. I also love to bake so you will always have freshly baked goods in the morning for breakfast. My house is very clean and organized. This is what any of my old homestay students would say when they leave my house. Come and live with us you will feel welcomed and right at home. Breakfast	Host prepares breakfast for student cereal. toast/jams, pancakes, biscuits, homemade loaf
Lunch	Host prepares lunch for student bagged lunch -juice, sandwiches and fruit......I also put microwavable meals
Dinner	Host prepares dinner for student I follow the Canada Food Guidelines in meal preparations My meals are all home made never any package food with my meal I make a great variety of foods in my house. Student always complement me on the meals they eat in my house
