Myself and family live on a quiet street near public transit (busses and train) 20 minutes to downtown. Walking distance to shopping,library and other amenities. I am retired after working thirty years at a telecommunication company. At the moment i do a lot of volunteer work and have encouraged some of my host students to volunteer and make new friends and learn about Canadian culture. My husband retired this year and continues to volunteer as a table tennis coach for the past thirty years. I have hosted students since 2001 from many different countries around the world. My family is easy going and friendly and we treat our host students as part of our family.

Dinner	Host prepares dinner for student I usually find out what they like eat for breakfast,lunch and dinner. I usually find out the students likes and dislikes and prepare food that they can enjoyed. There is always fruits and healthy snacks at my house that students can take at any time.
