How do I apply as a host?

Once you have registered, an email will be sent to your registered email address within 1 business day. You will need to click the link in the email to verify the email address. This way we are able to let you know by email when there is a new student interested in your homestay.
Log on to homadorma.com with your email and password. Fill in the application form step by step. After the application form is submitted, your homestay profile is live at homadorma.com.
What's the homestay market price?
At Homadorma, we believe every homestay family is different. Setting the same rate for everyone is not a true reflection of the difference among homestays. Instead, you have the rights to set the price. The price could also be updated. A general rule of thumb is to stay competitive in the marketplace.
What's Homadorma payment method?
We pay our hosts by direct deposit. We will ask hosts to provide us with bank account information (e.g., void cheque or direct deposit form issued by the bank) of the host or the spouse after a booking is confirmed.
How to find students near me?
Finding students near you is easy! Here's how:
- Log in on Homadorma
- Go to Find Students page
- You will find all students are looking for homestays near you. Check the student profile and click PROMOTE MY HOMESTAY (Note in some cities, you need to get property verficiation badge before getting this function to work). The student will then be notified that your homestay is available.
- If the student is also interested in your homestay, you will receive a booking request at My Booking.
Can students visit my homestay before reservation?
Of course! Students like to meet the host in person before making the final decision. We believe you'd like to meet the student too.
After inviting the student at My Booking page. The student can choose either Visit or Book.
What is the Trial Week?
At Homadorma, we provide a 7-day trial week for student and host to mingle, to see if they are fit for each other. The first week of the student staying at the homestay is the trial week.
In the rare case of misfit, we will help the students in finding new homestay placement.
The homestay fee is prorated based on the number of nights the student spends in your homestay.
