I am from Singapore and came here to study by myself over 10 years ago. I understand the struggles that newcomers face when leaving their families and home countries and can help combat some of those struggles. Struggles could range from setting up banking, selecting a phone plan, sight seeing to making friends in Vancouver. My husband is a Navy Veteran whose family used to do homestays for over 10 years as well. We like to have family meals together and have conversation with our homestays.----- Our homestay room is a bright guest room is ready to serve you the tranquility for your study need. This bedroom is located on the same floor as the family's. A mini fridge is provided for your own use. There is no access to a kitchen, so if you opt out of food, please let me know how you will be obtaining food in a separate message ----- We are situated in a quiet family oriented neighbourhood and have a straight bus to Langara College and UBC. We are two bus stops away from the skytrain that will take you downtown easily for those that have school downtown. Multiple ways to go downtown. Multiple routes to BCIT Burnaby (35 mins) ----- We are ready to help and guide you to pursue and explore the new chapter of your boarding life in this beautiful city of Vancouver.
