Hello, my name is Jonalyn. I work at a Drugstore in the evenings and I am at home with my kids in the mornings. My husband's name is Ediberto, and he works in the mornings. I am a mother of 4; I have 3 daughters and 1 son. My daughters are ages 8, 12, and 22. My son is 18 years old, but he lives in a dorm at the University of Victoria, where he is studying Psychology. My 22 year-old daughter is attending Simon Fraser University, where she studies English Literature and she is in her last year of school. Lastly, my younger daughters are attending elementary school. The homestay will be the entire basement suite. The basement suite has two bedrooms, but we are only renting one, shared bedroom with two beds. If you wish to rent alone, the cost per month will be $1800 CAD but if you are okay with sharing with another person, the cost per month will be $900 CAD per person. The bedroom has two, single-sized beds that comes with bedding; there is also a mirror, lamp, dresser, and one walk-in closet. The basement suite has its own (1) bathroom, (1) kitchen, and (1) living area. The living room and kitchen are both furnished, so there are two couches, a tv with cable, a dining table, a stove and oven, a microwave, a rice cooker, a fridge and other amenities. The basement also has a washer and dryer, but it is shared with us, the hosts. The basement also has its own entrance/exit door. Even though it is a basement suite, the basement is bright and sunny because we are a corner lot, so that means the windows in the basement are not blocked by another house. The windows are south- and west-facing, so when it is sunny, the basement gets a lot of natural light. Our home is also located near a lot of restaurants, grocery stores, a recreational centre, a gym, schools, bus stops, malls, and parks.
