Hello and welcome! We are an easy going young family living in the heart of Guildford in Surrey, BC. We are a Filipino household and have been hosting many students since 2021. Our home is located in a family-oriented neighborhood right across Guildford Heights Park. You will find that everything is walking distance: Guildford Town Centre Mall and food court, Walmart, T&T Supermarket, Save-On-Foods, Shoppers Drug Mart, Hannam Supermarket, pharmacies, banks, parks, cafes, restaurants (lots of options), dollar stores, Guildford Recreation Centre, Guildford Public Library, and many other essentials. Our home is a 5-7 min walk to bus stops and an 8-10 min bus ride to a skytrain station. From Surrey Central Station, it's about a 35 min train ride to downtown Vancouver. The room is furnished with all the necessities to make your stay comfortable. It is equipped with heater and air conditioning. Shared bathroom is on the same floor as the room. You will have access to kitchen for light cooking and meal prepping, and dining room to enjoy your meals. A small pantry and fridge storage will be provided.     订房后，房屋守则将包括在订房合同中
    GENERAL HOUSE RULES
    • Wash, dry and store your dishes/pots/pans/utensils right after use.
    • Clean after yourself when using shared common spaces.
    • Wipe counters after each use.
    • Do not leave food in the room. Storage can be provided in the pantry and fridge for you.
    • Speak English only when there's other people around.
    • Respect other's privacy (do not go inside the room unless invited or knock on the door).
    • Turn off lights and appliances (heater/air conditioning) in your room when not in use.
    • Quiet time starts from 10 PM
    • If you are going home later than 10 pm, please message me.
    • Lock the main door each time you leave/arrive the house.
    • Leave shoes by the door or in the room. You may use indoor slippers inside the house.
    • Please take the garbage out in your room if full. Dispose it properly in the garbage bin outside the house near the garage door. Separate the recycling; recycling bin is in the patio.
    • Keep your room clean. Vacuum is available.
    • No smoking within the premises.
    • No alcohol/drugs.
    • No visitors allowed.
    • No sleepover in the house.

    BATHROOM
    • Please note this bathroom is shared.
    • You are sharing the bathroom with others, so please be considerate of time usage.
    • No showers past midnight.
    • The hand towel provided in the bathroom is for hand use only.
    • Only toilet paper can be flushed down the toilet. Please do not flush down any hard paper such as paper towel, facial tissue, baby/makeup/facial wipes in the toilet to avoid clogging.
    • Keep the bathroom clean after each use.
    • Wipe off toilet seat and keep clean.
    • Remove lose hair from the drain after showering.
    • Turn ON the exhaust fan on if needed, especially if taking a shower. Turn it OFF after use.
    • Lock the door if using bathroom.
    • NOT PROVIDED: shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, towel etc.
     
    LAUNDRY
    • Once a week, weekends only
    • No laundry past 9 PM
    • NOT PROVIDED: detergent and/or softener

    SHOPPING, RESTAURANTS, GROCERIES
    I’m happy to say that there are many options for shopping and eating near our house (walking distance!).
    I encourage you to search and familiarize yourself just by looking on Google Maps.
    • If you want Asian supermarket > my go to is T&T Supermarket
    • If you want to shop > Guildford Town Centre Mall
    • Home goods and groceries > Walmart is located beside the mall
    • There are lots of restaurants, banks, cafes, bubble tea, and everything else nearby.
