2017年成为住我家网 Toronto 房东We have been hosting students since 2017. It has been a wonderful experience to connect and have students become part of our lives. We enjoy meeting new people and learning about their culture, interests and personal aspirations. We are friendly, understanding and approachable. We have two boys ages 10 and 12. Both my husband and I work from home and our hobbies include watching movies, video games, hiking, reading and making things with our hands. Our home environment is warm and caring and safe. Our home is an English Only speaking home. We are conveniently located with easy access to the bus and a six minute bus ride to Runnymede Subway Station. We live in a friendly neighbourhood surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants. It is in a very convenient location close to transit, grocery stores, Walmart, pharmacy, banks and library. We have 3 bright sunlit bedrooms on second floor of our home. 2 rooms have a beautiful view of our garden. The rooms are fully furnished with air conditioning and heating, high-speed internet, large size bed, wardrobe, study table, chair and lamp. Clean bedding, towels and pillows are included. Laundry facilities provided (student washes their own clothing on weekends). If you need a break from studying: Upstairs you can use the lounge where you can read or just hang out. We have a lovely backyard with a deck to enjoy the outdoors during warmer weather. **Please note that prepared lunches for school are available by request for an additional fee. 房屋守则
Students are responsible for the tidiness of the shared bathroom and their bedroom. Students are responsible for washing their own laundry and bed sheets as needed (washing can be done on the weekends or evenings). Showers should be limited to 15 minutes and can be taken daily. Dirty cups and plates must be taken down to the kitchen daily. No outside shoes are worn in the house (we recommend students bring house slippers to wear) When students will not be home for dinner or will be home late, we ask that they let us know by phone or texting. Noise to be kept to a minimum after 10:00pm. No overnight guests. We do not accept smokers. We expect students to treat our home with respect as we also endeavour to treat them with respect.
