2020年成为住我家网 Toronto 房东We have been hosting guests from overseas for 10 years. We are fully prepared to host guests during the current pandemics. I am an operating room technician at St Michael's Hospital. My husband is an English teacher and a wilderness guide. When he doesn't teach, he takes people to the Canadian boreal forest skiing and dog sledding when there is snow, and canoeing and kayaking when the snow is gone. Our guests get 20% discount for all the trips he guides during their stay. Our homestay program includes three meals per day and it is included in the homestay charge. The guests prepare their breakfast and lunch out of the produce that is in the refrigerator, and I cook dinner in the evening. I live with my family in a red brick house in Toronto. Across the street, there is a big park that takes you to the shore of Lake Ontario. It is in walking distance from Humber College, Lakeshore Campus. 翻译

Enjoy your stay and use all that our place can offer. Always follow all the rules, bylaws and recommendations of the government especially during the times of Covid 19.

• Ask if you don’t know how to do things, for example if a washer does not start up. Always ask me if you don’t understand some customs or traditions. There is usually a reason why people do things the way they do. Always tell me if you don’t like something, for example my soup is not too spicy. Remember that I learn from you, too.
• Let me know in advance that you will bring the guest home. During the times of pandemics we want you to limit the number of guests to one.
• Show respect to our neighbours and guests.
• Wash your hands right after entering the house.
• Take off your shoes before you get to the hardwood floor area. Leave your boots downstairs.
• Clean up your room daily.
• Prepare your room for weekly cleanups on Thursday.
• Save the water by staying under shower for maximum 7 minutes.
• Do your laundry between 9 pm and 11 pm on weekdays or anytime during the weekend.
• Leave the dining kitchen area clean: clean the floor, the stove, countertops after you use them.
• Place the food in the plastic containers before you put it in the refrigerator. Do not overstock the refrigerator.
• Rinse your plates and utensils and leave them in the sink.
• Positively no food or drink in the living room and bedroom.
• Our computer is for our work. You may have an online access to the printer when it does not interfere with my work.
• Pay your homestay fee on time.

• Don’t leave any electric appliances like iron, stove, etc…on when you leave the house:
