Thank you for reading my ad. I am an outgoing self-employed single, middle-age woman with two young adult children. My daughter is currently in university in Toronto and is with me in Ottawa a few days each week. I love to learn about different cultures. My home is a smoke-free, detached house in Barrhaven/Nepean, a safe, quiet, upscale suburb of Ottawa. ***I have one shy cat who is usually hiding. I'm close to ALGONQUIN COLLEGE (only a 25-30 minute bus ride). I am also close to ALL amenities (shopping plazas, coffee shops, fast food, restaurants, grocery stores, banks, buses, movie theatres, and only a short car ride, or 45-50 minute bus ride to downtown Ottawa. Looking for responsible, quiet, tidy and respectful individuals to share my home. In the past, I lived in the Greater Toronto Area, where I hosted International Summer Exchange students from Asia and Spain. I was also previously a foster parent to over 24 foster children from varying backgrounds. In my home, you will be treated the way I treat my own son and daughter (who are now in their 20s). Sometimes, host will provide the material and the student will prepare their own breakfast. ***On the weekends, host will prepare a special (large) breakfast. **** Breakfast consists of scrambled eggs, fried eggs, hard boiled eggs, omelet with toast, cereal and milk, pancakes with syrup and eggs; toast and jam or marmalade; bagels with cream cheese or peanut butter and jam; oatmeal; orange, apple or other fruit juice; hash brown potatoes with scrambled eggs, fried eggs or omelette; yogurt; fruits; tea, hot chocolate or coffee.
