Hi , I am an experienced homestay mom who has hosted many students in the past from all over the world. I enjoy students very much and to learn about their cultures and to welcome them and support their adjustment to Canada. I live in Ottawa in a 3 bedroom home - the bedrooms are upstairs. Two of the room are unoccupied. I have gardens both in the front and back yard. I live in a friendly neigbourhood with nearby parks and bike paths along the Ottawa River. The light rail transit is a 10 minute walk and takes about 15 minutes to UOttawa. There are also bus routes as well to UOttawa. I enjoy cooking for students and making nutritious meals. I am semi-retired and do some clinical teaching on short term contracts for nursing students from the University of Ottawa/Algonquin College collaborative program. 翻译
