自我介绍:
    自我介绍:

I'm an accountant and my husband is a professional chef in one of the prime hotels in Toronto. We have 3 children (Gabriel -19, Lorenzo - 14 and Leof - 4). Gabriel is taking up Accounting at Ryerson University. Lorenzo is in Grade 8 at St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School. Leof goes to Creative Preschool. We are a very laid back family who loves to watch movies. My husband and I love to cook good food which we share to our students. We love to visit the public library in front of the house for special events. On the summer we go biking to the beaches, which is very near to our place. We also walk to Greenwood Park or Jones Park to play and have cold drinks. On our day off we like walking around our neighborhood. Our house is located in a nice area where there are lots of small shops and restaurants and are also accessible to several grocery stores and is a walking distance from Gerrard Square. If we want to go shopping for clothes, Eaton Centre is just one streetcar ride away (less than 30 mins).

HOUSE RULES
SECURITY
1. Make sure that you lock the main doors when you leave the house.
2. The house is equipped with a security alarm which is turned on late at night. If you need to come home late, let us know so we can disarm the lock for you.
3. Let us know if you will not be going home for the night or for several nights. Please advise when we can expect you to be back.
CLEANLINESS
1. Common areas and rooms should be kept clean at all times. If you accidentally spill or made a mess in the common area, please clean up your mess.
2. Only papers or non-food items should be placed in the garbage can inside your room. Food waste should be thrown in the food bin in the kitchen. Food wrappers or containers should be disposed in the kitchen either in the garbage bin (e.g. non-recyclable plastics) or in the recycle bin (e.g. boxes, cans and recyclable plastics).
3. You can use the vacuum to clean up your room. Make sure to return the vacuum to its proper place.
4. Garbage day is every Thursday morning, please make sure that you dispose the garbage bin in your room on Wednesday night.
5. Keep your room clean at all times. We will check your room once in a while to make sure it is clean.
LAUNDRY
1. You are allowed to use the washer and dryer once a week to laundry your clothes.
2. Laundry schedule is between the following hours:
• Monday to Friday – 7pm to 11pm
• Saturday to Sunday – anytime of the day
3. Be sure to check if the dryer is free of lint before loading it.
4. Remove your clothes from the washer/dryer immediately after the cycle so other people will be able to use the machine.
5. Please follow the precautions in using the machines (e.g. no flammable items in the dryer, etc.)
BATHROOM USE
1. The basement bathroom is to be shared by all homestays. Please make sure that you don’t stay too long in the washroom especially in the morning when other students are also preparing for school.
2. If you urgently need to use the washroom and the basement bathroom is in use, you can use the washroom in the main floor which is usually reserved for guest.
3. It is ok to put toilet paper in the toilet and flush it. Please do not put anything else in the toilet.
4. As a courtesy to the person you are sharing the bathroom with, please make sure that the bathroom is clean enough for the next person to use.
