Self-Introduction:
    Self-Introduction:

I am a 54 year old mother and 2 children. My 28 year old daughter lives in an apartment but she is often at home. My 25 year old boy with me.
My professional experiences, as a psychosocial worker for young people of all ages with different needs, as a professional integration consultant with disabled young people and early childhood educator; the availability of rooms; the points that motivated me to embark on this project of accommodation. I offer this service because I feel pleasure to share my living space with other people from different cultures and offer them a comfortable and friendly living space.

Students who usually stay in my family are 18 years old or older so far. They come from different countries. For a stay of 3 months or more. They attend different language schools, colleges and universities in Montreal in our neighborhood.

Due to our different activity schedules, we often spend time together after activities, evenings and weekends. Sometimes we share a meal, watch a movie and sometimes when possible for all, we organize and carry out common activities both inside and outside respecting the choice of each. We are interested in the following activities: practicing, attending or seeing a sport (soccer, volleyball, basketball ...), watching a good movie, having a picnic, swimming, dancing, rollerblading, doing bike, sing, shop, cook, listen, play music, go to church, stay home, etc.

Among our activities we favor an explosion of flavors from here and elsewhere on our plates when it's possible for everyone. Once or twice a month, a volunteer offers to organize the cultural day of the month, for example: a Mexican day during which music and games are organized, animated by Mexican students. We provide most of the meal and she prepares a typical Mexican meal with the help and cooperation of all.
The harmonious collaboration of each one during the stay makes the stay of each one an enriching and pleasant experience for all. We all do what is possible so that every student feels at ease during his stay with us.
