Hello! Let me introduce myself. My name is Helen and my mother (retired) and I work during the day. I work as an art instructor, educator and have experience working with youth and children of all ages. We both enjoy cooking and baking together. Our hobbies are we like to garden, go out for walks in the park, festivals & family outings. Our home is located in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. It's close to all amenities; Shopping plaza, Dollarama, Supermarket (No Frills/FreshCo), bank, restaurants, café, bubble Tea house, City Hall, Central library, convenience stores, park etc. The closest Chinese supermarkets (Yuan Ming, T&T, Btrust)| We have a spacious living room equipped with home theater where you can watch DVD, karaoke & Chrome cast on TV. The bedroom is fully furnished - comes with bed, office desk, chair, lamp, closet, mirror and brightly-lit windows. Include Utilities (electricity, gas, water), Wi-Fi Internet & Laundry facilities. If student prefer to do their own laundry, we'll instruct them. Near Erindale GO Train Station which can go to Mississauga surrounding cities (downtown Toronto, Oakville, Brampton). 30 minutes from University of Toronto- Mississauga Campus. Our home is close to Bus Stop, 2 minute walking distance - bus goes to Shopping Mall (Square One Shopping Centre). We will ensure student is shown bus routes and get familiar with the area. Meals: We will provide the students with breakfast, lunch, and dinner if needed. Mix of Chinese/Vietnamese/Western food. We would be happy to show the students around the area and the rest of the City. Cereal, oatmeal, waffles, toast with jam/peanut butter, grilled cheese, bagel & cream cheese, fruits, yogurt. Eggs and bacon, English muffins

Lunch 		Host prepares lunch for student
Deli meat Sandwiches : ham, turkey etc. salads, egg, chicken wrap, pizza, pasta, fried rice/ noodles, soup, delicious smoothie drinks and leftovers from dinner meal.

Dinner 		Host prepares dinner for student
We usually cook Chinese/Vietnamese cuisine. Soup, stir fried vegetables and stir fried meat/fish with rice/noodles, sushi maki rolls, spaghetti, Vietnamese vermicelli, phố & desserts or anything available. Sometimes we bake on the weekend; pastries, fresh bread/waffles.

    House rules will be included in the contract after booking


    Maintain cleanliness - keep your room and bathroom CLEAN at all times. Please clean up after using the bathroom (bathtub/toilet).
    No parties. Let us know in advance if you plan on bringing a friend over. No overnight guests are allowed.

    Please keep our home secure and make sure the front door is locked when leaving and re-entering

    Laundry is done on Weekends or Weekdays after 7pm
    No pets inside due to allergies
    Please respect our home but feel comfortable. Treat it as your own house for the duration of your stay


    Please notify us if you will be late or if you are planning to spend evening elsewhere. We would like for the students to communicate with us. Thank you.
