We have 2 children. Our eldest son lives in Toronto. He visits us once in awhile on the weekends. Our youngest is going to University in London and he comes home once in a while. I was working in IT field up until 8 years ago and decided to stay home. My husband is a professional interpreter (English-Vietnamese) working from home for an American company. We have been doing Homestay for 6 years. In the summer when our Homestay students go home we take short term Homestay students for summer programs. We enjoy doing Homestay as we both love cooking and enjoy serving the children. Our beautiful home is situated in a lovely neighbourhood. It’s anout 18 minutes bus ride to Clarkson Secondary School. 10 minutes bus ride to UTM, 20 minutes bus ride to Square One Mall. 10 minutes bus ride to Clarkson GO station, 30 minutes GO train ride to downtown Toronto’s Union Station. The room upstairs is a master bedroom with private ensuite. It’s furnished with a queen size bed, Desk and a massage chair. We usually do laundry for the students but if the students prefer to do on their own then we will provide instruction as well as soap and detergent. We expect the students to keep their room clean and tidy. We care for and love the students like our own children. We have students that stayed with us for 2 years

Breakfast	Host prepares breakfast for student Cereal, toast and jam/peanut butter., fruits, yogurt. Eggs and bacon. On the weekends we make fresh waffles, bake fresh bread
Lunch	Host prepares lunch for student Sandwiches- ham and cheese, tuna, egg salad. Salad, Wraps. Pasta fried rice and left over from dinner
Dinner	Host prepares dinner for student Chinese/Vietnamese cuisine. Soup, stir fried vegetables and stir fried meat/fish. Rice and pasta. We love seafood. We make fresh pasta, rice noodle at home. We bake weekly and we bake fresh bread on weekends
