Hosting in Toronto since 2018Hi there! My name is Kirstin. I live in the beaches area of Toronto with my 2 sons and my dog. I have been offering home stay in my house for a few years and love to meet students who are travelling and going to school in Canada. My house is in a great location - walking distance to the beach, stores and restaurants and a quick ride to subway or downtown. I am a teacher and love camping in the summer. This homestay is best suited to someone who wants the support of knowing there is a host here to help with anything they need but who is slightly older and prefers a private space. It is a studio apartment with a separate entrance, a private bathroom, kitchenette, living area, bed and office/desk area. There is lots of storage space. The laundry and shower are shared space as there is no shower in the student's private bathroom. I am always here for the student if she would like company or needs help; however, her space is private and she has everything she needs to prepare her own food so the food is her own responsibility (I will leave a few things to get her started when she arrives and take her to the grocery store/familiarize her with the neighborhood!). I am a teacher and very friendly and look forward to meeting the next student who would like to share my home!

No smoking in the house and you're welcome to have friends visit but please be respectful about it. Because my children are still fairly young i ask that we have "quiet hours" after 9:00p.m.
