Hi. Wanted to say "hello" and let you know I was a Secretary for most of my life. My last secretarial job was with the Surrey School Board. I retired 8 years ago from that position but now work part time at the same school watching the children at lunch hour. I love the kids and it gets me out and about. I have been a homestay host for @ 15 years now and have met some of the most fabulous students. I have learned so much about their country and their culture. I still have many who keep in touch with me and one Korean student came back after 10 years to visit me last September. I try my best to make my students feel at home knowing they are away from their families, their school, their friends, their culture and even their food. It is a difficult task coming to a new country not knowing what to expect and I understand this. I have had wonderful experiences and the rewards from having a student living with me have been fabulous! Hope to meet you soon! Available to rent Sept. 2020

Some. No drinking, drugs or smoking. That's about it. I have to small (kind of yappy) Pomeranian dogs so you have to like dogs!! I just expect the students to be in at a reasonable hour, especially my girls, as I worry about them.
