About Marian's family
Hosting in York since 2020hosting students from other country is something i really enjoy doing.i have five years of experience being a homestay hosts since my kids got married and moved out i have been at home alone which is why i really like having students at my house.one of the main reasons i have being doing this is to interact with the students from other countries and learn about their cultures and more importantly being able to help them adjust to a new country while they are studying.my home is close to george brown college ,university of toronto,bloorcollegiate institute, ilac international academy,ilcs ,comunity centre, toronto downtown and is located in a very quite residential street.my interests and hobbies including reading watching theatrical shows watching movies on television .i'm a welcoming,kind person who enjoys helping others.i have two children and three grandchildren.in my spare time, i love spending quality time with them.

House rules
i ask the students to only have two friends over at the time for a visit.no sleepover is permitted .it is expected that they maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen,bathroom and tv area and that they respect the privacy and belongings of the other students.in regards of layout of the house my room and space is downstairs. i usually use the back entrance of the house to get in but some times i use the front entrance.my house is a bungalow.the bedrooms for the students are upstairs they come in from the front entrance.they are allowed to use the back yard in the summer time if they like.
