Hi, my name is Mhay. I am a stay-at-home mom since I had my first child. I have two kids, Brandon who is 6 and is loving Grade school and Makaela who just turned 4. Makaela and I spend our time doing chores, grocery shopping, cooking, baking, play dates and just about every other thing a child does. My hobby is cooking and baking; and, I enjoy trying new recipes every now and then, sometimes it's a hit and sometimes it's a miss. As a family we love to have people over for meals or just hang. We also occasionally go for long drives out of the city especially during the fall season. We live in a semi-detached house in a corner lot. It is located next to a park and across that park is a mall, banks, coffee shop, and restaurants. The streetcar and bus is a minute walk from our house. Both lead to a TTC subway station, where students can easily hop on and pretty much access the entire city and do most of the things that one needs. We are approx 35-40 minutes from University of Toronto by subway or streetcar, and 40-45 minutes to ILAC, ILSC or LSI. If you choose to stay with us, we hope that you'll be comfortable and feel at home.

Dinner is our favourite meal of the day. We usually have a meat dish (beef, chicken, pork or fish), vegetable and rice or potatoes and salad. Sometimes we'll top it off with a dessert.

House rules
    House rules will be included in the contract after booking
    We expect students to treat our family and house with respect as we also endeavor to treat them with respect. We expect students to behave appropriately and exercise common courtesy.

    We have a few small house rules that we can share further (including 'lights out' and shower time, etc) and expect the student to follow them. We expect students to try their best to always speak English and ask questions, or seek help when they need it. Lastly, we expect the student to learn as much as they can about the great Canadian culture and Canadian values.
