Hi there, We are a friendly family of three from Australia who have lived in Vancouver for the past 5-years. We love to explore this city, and share our lovely home with amazing respectful students from all over the world. We enjoy eating and sharing healthy homemade food and celebrating holidays and events (birthdays, Halloween, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas etc) with our students. You are guaranteed daily contact, especially at dinner time where we sit and eat together and/or catch up for a rematch of UNO, SkipBo or movies over the weekend. Note: This is an ideal placement for students wishing to experience a safe and caring hands-on homestay. We are proud to boast that we consistently see growth and top marks from our students in their confidence and English language because of their immersion experience with us! Therefore, if you are looking to improve your English (as a second language) or creative thinking as a design/art student because you'll be engaging with a university design academic, you have arrived at the perfect homestay. If that is not enough, we have breathtaking unrestricted views of Vancouver's Mountains, sea and downtown from your front door. Easy access (direct bus) to UBC, Eaton Arrowsmith and popular westside schools (PW, Kits, Byng, U-Hill, Crofton, St George, York House) and downtown or take Canada Line from King Edward Station to anywhere in Vancouver. We have three clean and comfortably furnished rooms available that can be configured* to suit in twin, double or queen sized beds (only if available at the time of booking). All rooms are secure and lockable. Lastly on food, we can offer half (breakfast & dinner) or full (breakfast, lunch and dinner) on top of your board. Full board is $1350 and half is $1200. Bed & breakfast $1100 maybe considered on a short term basis but cannot be offered long term as there is only one kitchen in the house. For short terms stays: kitchen use is only permitted to people who know how to cook and clean up after themselves. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you for reading!
