About GLENDA's family
Hosting in Delta since 2017We have just hosted three students and loved the experience. The feedback from them has been great. We have hosted Chinese, Koreans and will be welcoming a teen from Mexico. I live with my husband and 23 year old son. We have a beautiful, playful and friendly boxer dog Bruce. He lives with us upstairs. My husband and I work from home and my son Keith has just completed University. We are a peaceful family, living in a quiet and well-connected neighbourhood, minutes away from public transport. We enjoy the company of others; being hospitable to our guests is very important to us. We expect and want our students to feel at home and be themselves all with mutual respect. We love music and have many musical instruments available. We love to camp, barbecue and entertain occasionally. The basement has a dry kitchen with a fridge, big dining table and microwave for the students use. Students are welcome and encouraged to use the family kitchen upstairs if they feel like cooking their own food occasionally. Our past students have done so and it was fun.
