Hello, my name is Victoria. I am a retired telecommunications professional. I live in the City Centre of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, less than 5 minutes away from Square One. Mississauga is within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and is west of Toronto. Very close to Square One Shopping Centre and Mississauga transit terminal with just one short bus ride. We are only 25 minutes away from downtown Toronto. My house is a 3-minute walk to the bus stop, with the supermarket, convenience store, drug store, post office, bank and several restaurants close by. I live in a 2-storey detached brick house. I rent out two rooms on the 2nd floor. You will be sharing the bathroom with one other student. My home is in a quiet and safe residential area that is close to all amenities - shopping, entertainment, the bus terminal, central library, public and private schools, hospitals. Some schools that are close to the area are: Sheridan College Hazel McCallion Campus, Sheridan College Davis Campus, Bronte College, Everest College, Mentor College, University of Toronto Mississauga, Applewood Heights Secondary School, Rick Hansen Secondary School, Mississauga Secondary School, John Cabot Catholic Secondary School, John Fraser Secondary School, Heartland International English School. As well, some of the major international businesses hold office in Mississauga, like BASF, Oracle, Continental Tires, Purolator, MSN, HP, Nokia Siemens, Bell Canada/ Bell Mobility, and are a bus ride (or bicycle ride) away. Mississauga is where some of the biggest tech companies hold their headquarters. I have been hosting since 2012 and enjoy the exchange of cultural nuances that comes from hosting international students. I also like to spend time in the garden and travel.
